Does Lawrence Kormos offer fundraising opportunities?
Lawrence Kormos is proud to support his community. Lawrence Kormos will consider providing books at cost to charitable groups who can provide viable fundraising proposals. Your group can sell the books and keep all of the profit to benefit your cause. Lawrence will also provide his books to charitable groups who wish to send them to third world countries in order to help underprivileged children or adults learn to read.
When did you start writing books and what made you get started?
Lawrence started writing children's books approximately two years ago. His children and wife provided the inspiration for his books. He used to make up stories for his children at bedtime and they loved them, so Lawrence decided to put them on paper.
What education do you have?
He majored in English at the University of Western Ontario and graduated in 1978.
Have you written any other books?
Lawrence has written quite a few books. Four are currently published.
When do you plan on publishing new books?
Lawrence plans to publish at least one new book every year.
What is your goal for writing these stories?
Each book is written as an entertaining story that carries a moral message. His goal is to write books that entertain children and adults. Both should get equal enjoyment out of reading these books together. Lawrence's greatest reward is learning that his writing has inspired emotion in the readers. Do you present your books in schools or do classroom readings?
Lawrence does not currently do school readings but would love to start. Lawrence has special bookmarks available to supply to children at the readings and he would also be available for signing.
Do you write anything else besides children's books?
Lawrence has also written poetry. He writes poetry for children and grown-ups.
